IFSO has been a scientific organization, bringing together surgeons in order to involve in the treatment of morbidly obese patients.
Aim
Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery is a highly demanding and challenging therapy, which necessitates the appropriate training and experience on the part of the surgeon and the adequate institutional facilities.
SQE Guidelines
IFSO has established guidelines for SAFETY, QUALITY and EXCELLENCE (SQE) in Bariatric Surgery.
